Description

Another new route this time for a very scenic early autumn walk in the Ashdown Forest area of the High Weald. Led by Dave.

When

Sunday 23 September at 2pm.

Where

Meet at the Pillow Mound car park again by the Kings Standing Clump -Grid reference TQ472301 – at the junction of B2188 and B2026. The car park is 2 miles north of Duddeswell on B2026, which comes off the A22, about 2 miles north of Uckfield. Note: There are several car parks on this stretch of road, so be sure to pick the one right by the B road junction.

Transport: Route is not served by buses, so please ask for a lift in advance.

Sun 9 September: Wannock Wander

Description

A scenic walk through the Downs, starting from Wannock.  From there we will head to Fulkington, along the South Downs Way into Jevington for refreshments at the 8 Bells pub.  The walk back from the pub to Wannock has particularly impressive views.  Led by Andrew.
